First we made a plan. we did this so we collected the data in the same way. Eg . shoes off for foot length, hand span palm down. Then we collected the data, recording it on a form (one for each person).
Use a ruler, measure in cm's, hand downwards, 0cm to whatever your pinky is on lets say 22cm, hand needs to be spread out your farthest. Everbody in 10R is quite average no one has a small hand span and no one has a long foot. I know this because the scatter graph is showing me everything i need to know this is why you should always use a scatter graph when doing length, width or height.
